Hi all ,

Recently , i made a project using PIC16F877 connected to MAX232 to Serial port and the output to GUI (Using visual Basic) is OK! Simply call it “an oscilloscope using PIC through serial”

Now , i change the method , i took off the serial cable , apply it with bluesmirf . (i only use the TX pin only, RX not use)

Here’s the problem .

1. My connection between Bluetooth Module (Third Party) and the blueSmirf is OK! But , no sign it sending the data . If i compare to Serial link , it smoothly send the data. I checked in hyperterminal .

2. Is the bluesmirf suppose to be connected to MAX232 ? If connected to TX pin of PIC , it produce TTL 5V , while MAX232 produce 3 to 7 volt i think …

Help me please … (its my Final Year Project) … and my supervisor is like TTL condition … 0 = fail , 5 = OK … no output … considered fail …

and … do bluetooth got transmission problem? i dont have any measurement tool and i dont have any idea how to debug bluetooth …

I appreciate any comments , since my first posting looks so depressing , i dont have any choice … anyway … thank you …

The RX pin from the BlueSMiRF should be connected to the TX pin on your PIC directly (no MAX232).
