# Board selection for esp32 thing plus in Arduino ide?

Sparkfun hookup guide to esp32 thing plus says board selection = Adafruit ESP32 Feather, which works but there is a Sparkfun ESP32 Thing board option. is this for the previous version of the board?

“SparkFun ESP32 Thing” was meant for this product: [https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13907](https://www.sparkfun.com/products/13907), not the ESP32 Thing _Plus_ which was built for the Adafruit Feather footprint
