# burning bootloader on atmega1284P

I am in desperate need of finding an answer on how to bootload atmega1284P. There is only link I could find but its not clear for a newbie like me ,

I have few basic questions:

1- can I burn the bootloader to atmega1284P using arduino uno which has atmega328P ?

2- is there a tutorial out there (like there are many for atmega328) for burning bootloader for atmega1284P ?

I have also posted this question on arduino forum but no answer so far.
