I purchased two Lithium Batteries to replace the batteries in an Electrolux “stick vacuum” which was still working, but did not hold a charge for more than 5 minutes. I installed the new batteries in the vacuum and turned it on, nothing happened. I checked the output voltage of the series connected batteries and it was about 2.7 volts total. I thought perhaps the batteries had been on the shelf for a while so I put the vacuum on the charger for a day. Initially the charging led was lit, and after 24 hours it was off. I tried the vacuum, and it shut off after one minute. I restarted it, and it sjhut off immediately.

I purchased and installed these very same batteries from Sparkfun 5 years ago in this vacuum. I would like two “tested” replacement batteries. Please advide me how to proceed.

Thanks,

Joe

It is likely that one of them is DoA; were they purchased from us? If so head over to [Return Policy - SparkFun Electronics](http://www.sparkfun.com/returns) (contact vendor if purchased elsewhere) and we’ll get ya squared away with replacements
