I love the small size of the new MiniMod GPS board and wonder how effective it is indoors.

Thanks,

Jeremy

What GPS receiver chip does it have?

Here’s the product:

[http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/produc … ts\_id=8416](http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=8416)

It uses the “GR10/MN1010 GPS module in conjunction with a GPS chip antenna”. The chip has -152dBm sensitivity, which seems on par with the other modules. The thing that concerns me is the small antenna.

I haven’t worked with GPS modules before and I am developing a small wearable application. So the size is perfect, I’m just concerned about indoor use.
