# Error with ESP8266 WiFi Shield

Hi,

I have a problem when I upload sketch (example ESP8266\_Shield\_Demo) to Arduino:

> Press any key to begin.
> 
> Error talking to ESP8266.
> 
> Error: 0
> 
> Looping forever.

I use Arduino Duemilanove. The switch on the ESP8266 is set to SW. It is very strange that everything was working fine until a few days ago. Now STAT LED doesn’t blink.
