I am having trouble getting started. The problem I am having is mainly a documentation problem. I have an Amontec JTAG-Key-tiny that I want to use for development. I also have an Atmel AT91SAM7S-EK board and an Olimex LPC-P2378 board. Amontec provides an install CD that has installers for Eclipse, Yagarto, and OpenOCD. For a “getting started” primer, the Amontec website refers the user to a tutorial written by James Lynch about 4 years ago. I was able to stumble my way through it and figure out the errors in the document. The version of software in the document is different than the version of software I have, so some items may not be configured properly. I still am not stepping through code yet, but I will hopefully get there soon.

I’m wondering if there isn’t a Wiki somewhere that has simple, up-to-date and accurate step-by-step examples for the various software-board-jtag combinations. Is there somewhere that is a Grand Central Station for ARM development on Windows? Where are the good places to subscribe to in order to get these tool chain problems resolved?

I don’t have any problems using the JTAGkey-Tiny with the Rowley CrossWorks tools, FWIW.
