# GPS-RTK2 Board Antenna Question

I wonder if It’s possible to use GPS-RTK2 Board without GPS/GNSS antenna?

If the antenna is necessary, can I use a chip antenna, for example the one below

Hello!

Unfortunately an active antenna is required for these to work and our passive antennas **are not compatible**. The following antennas will work just fine with our RTK GPS boards:

- - GPS-14986

- - GPS-14987
- - GPS-15192

We hope to use GPS-RTK2 in a wearable device, is it possible to make the anntenna smaller?

You might be able to find a smaller antenna, but unfortunately the three choices above are the smallest antennas we carry that still work with a RTK GPS.
