Improvement Suggestion for Readability of the Portability Shield Display Outdoors

Since the OLED display on the Portability Shield is quite difficult to read outdoors, I suggest:

  1. Drop the almost invisible crosshairs icon and the Horizontal Accuracy numbers and, instead, display the “GPS Quality indicator” as a single digit (0-5) using the largenum font. See https://struttfolk.com/SparkFun/RTKEverywhereDisplayMod.jpg

  2. If you ever remix the Shield, use an e-ink display. Refresh rates of 1-2 seconds are fine for these devices.
