Hello I use the microbit attached to the Kitronik Servolite board. The original micro USB that came with the microbit will still fit into the connector when attached to the board. However, the other microUSB cables that I bought from sparkfun have too fat of a head to fit into the microbit while connected to the servolite board (or most extension boards)

Can anyone tell me if this micro USB has a thin head like the original USB connector in the microbit kit? [micro:bit USB Cable 300mm - Black - SparkFun Electronics](https://www.sparkfun.com/micro-bit-usb-cable-300mm-black.html)

Do you mean compared to this one?

(from the [MB v2 kit](https://www.sparkfun.com/sparkfun-inventor-s-kit-for-micro-bit-v2.html))

The one you’ve linked has a slightly smaller ‘head’ on the connector than the kit one

If you happen to have some sharp snips you can also physically ‘edit’ the shape of the housing/plastic (the ones that come with 3D printers work great) to trim 'em and make the ones you have on-hand fit
