Hi, I’m building a multi-channel EMG prototype with MyoWare 2.0 sensors. I found the docs showing each sensor uses END, MID, and REF electrode pads, but I couldn’t find a documented wiring option for using one shared reference electrode across multiple sensors. Is there an approved way to share one reference electrode among 4 MyoWare 2.0 sensors, or does each sensor require its own REF electrode? If shared reference is possible, could you point me to the recommended wiring diagram or guide? Thanks.
The REF electrode is only needed if you’re using a muscle group that is too big for the onboard one to work (like quadriceps)…each area being measured/sensing would use its own REF (either the onboard or via electrode)
We have an example using 4 https://youtu.be/d1oUHqPa35I?si=L9YjVgNCPDNA1jJs&t=510 wired into an arduino shield
