this has been a GREAT publicity “Stunt” so don’t try and pass it off as “giving back”

Same here. I got the login page a few times, but whenever I’d try to login I’d timeout. Looks unlikely I’ll get anything at this point. :frowning:

Eh, at around $10K per hour, it might get better later as some folks stop hitting ‘retry’ (either from giving up or having an order complete…)

this isnt the place for this conversation but i think youd be hard pressed to find an economist who thinks the US consumer saves too much money

At one point I hit refresh and started to walk off and then I turned back and saw the home page come up, so I ran back and tried to add item to cart and timed out.

i agree w/ whoever mentioned amazon ec2 or other cloud computing. though i have to admit this is out of my experience (never did manage to make my site popular enough for that :slight_smile: )
