Hi
I am wondering what is the Manufacturer Part Number of P-Channel MOSFET used in this Power Delivery Board - USB-C Board.
STUSB4500 Datasheet says STL6P3LLH6,but i read in the comment section that STL9P3LLH6 is used on this board. Which one is correct?
STL9P3LLH6 on our version
I understand that STL9P3LLH6 has lower RDS than STL6P3LLH6.
I wan to order Sparkfun Power Delivery Board and test it. Later in my schematics, i want to use STL6P3LLH6 that ST recommends. So, i am bit unsure if this MOSFET change will make it work in my design?
? It’s still the one we’ve used for that product. Is your project rigorous about efficiency?
You can always just swap the components physically and test in-hand. If the datasheet recommends 6, I’d presume it’d work fine (especially since 9 does, heh)
I don’t mind if one or the other MOSFET has a couple of extra milliohm rds.
Swapping out one MOSFET with another was what I was thinking to do during testing. But not sure how easy is it to do
