# price difference in IMUs

hello,

I’m interested in a IMU for research in robotics. In the SparkFun Shop I found two interesting IMUs:

1. Atomic IMU 6 Degrees of Freedom - XBee Ready

2. IMU 6 Degrees of Freedom - v4 with Bluetooth Capability

The price difference seems to be significant. I know from the description of the 2nd one that it has additional magnetometers and Bluetooth capability but I can’t imagine that this is all that makes the difference.

Could someone explain me how this difference in price comes from?
