# SparkFun The Thing Plus ExpLoRaBLE (WRL-17506), anyone have a TTN OTAA sketch that works

I have a slightly modified the example OTAA sketch based on the BASICMAC example that established an OTAA connection after many many attempts, and only occasionally can successfully transmit a packet.

The provided example sketch needs a number of variable changes to support the SX1262 chip instead of the SX1272, including the pin mapping. Finally got a sketch that would, after many retransmissions, get a join-accept response from TTN. However, the sketch did not seem to behave in the expected manner by proceeding the transmit the data payload, instead it continued to re-xmit the request to join.

I am not new to TTN, I host my own gateway and have a SAMD-21 Pro RF LoRaWAN boards that works perfectly. But The Thing Plus ExpLoRaBLE has been a nightmare for me.

Does anyone have a basic TTN OTAA sketch that consistently and reliably works for them when using this board? Would you share, I am losing too many of my gray hairs already. Thanks in advance.
