Unable to connect RFID antenna and M7E Hekto

Hi,

I want to connect UHF RFID Antenna (RP-TNC) to a M7E Hekto RFID reader.
I have the U.FL (UMCC) til RP-SMA cable connected to the RFID reader.

That gives me a male contact from both places. :man_facepalming:
Digging around the product page for the antenna I found this Interface Cable for RP-TNC to RP-SMA cable. Is that what I’m missing? It looks like it has female connectors, but one of them looks smaller, which wouldn’t work.

How can I connect the cable from the reader to the antenna?
Could it be that the technical doc that describes the RFID-antenna cable is outdated?
Perhaps they deliver another kind in the version I have received?

- are you saying DK shipped you a u.FL to TNC by mistake as well? It should be a male SMA connecter (brass)

The photo you shared should be the antenna’s end; you are correct in that you should just need the one we sell Interface Cable for RP-TNC to RP-SMA - 1m - SparkFun Electronics

In summary: if you have the actual https://www.digikey.no/no/products/detail/sparkfun-electronics/18569/15652895 you only need the adapter cable linked above. If you do have a TNC connecter coming from the reader’s u.FL you’ll still need a u.FL to RP-SMA adapter
