# usb type c block, lack thereof

In designing a custom PCB for an ROV project, I was befuddled at the lack of an option to install a USB type C block on an A La Carte custom PCB. If I am stupid and blind and it is right there, or if it needs to be added, I really don’t know. also, any way to hardwire USB to the Artemis would be appreciated

It’s under the ‘power’ section; note:

'USB Power $0.00

All ALC boards USB-C for power and data. This makes it easy to power your project from your PC, a USB phone charger or even a portable battery bank! This block sets your power budget only. No USB cable or adapter is provided but can be added at checkout.’
