# Weller wlc-100 tip screw

Good Afternoon.

I’m new here, please excuse me if I’m supposed to be somewhere else.

I inherited a Weller wlc-100 soldering station with the understanding that the screw that holds the tip in place was missing. I did not expect to have so much trouble finding a replacement.

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement for that screw? I’ve looked high and low, but I can’t find anything.

Hello Andy.

You might try contacting Weller to see if they have replacements, but if they don’t I’d recommend taking the iron to a well stocked hardware store and trying different screws until you find something that fits. You probably won’t find an exact replacement, but you will likely find something that will work.
