I need to transmit a sensor value from on arduino to another (it will be transmitted from a couple of times/sec to one each minute). It will have a maximun distance of 15 meter, (more likely 10m).

Im not looking for the hardcord equipment, just need something which can send and another part which can receive without picking up noice and not to much of a power ‘eater’

Best

Simplest to use is a series 1 XBee modules.

Cheapest is any of the OOK transmitter/receiver pairs on 433MHz (if allowed in the country you live in). But, these require code to encode and decode the data for reliable transfer.

Search the forum here for many threads discussing what you want to do, it is a very common question.
