I recently started messing with XBees and bought the USB explorer off the Sparkfun website [https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8687](https://www.sparkfun.com/products/8687). Currently I am trying to flash the XBee back to original settings by using X-CTU by Digi because I think I put it to sleep since no Baud rate will connect to it (Xbee I am using) [https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11215](https://www.sparkfun.com/products/11215). I’m unable to get past the Action Required screen where it asks to press and release the reset switch. Due to this explorer not having a reset switch I am unable to get past this screen.

This is my only obstacle. I have looked through all the comments about short wiring the RST pin with the GND pin and no luck. I have soldered on wires to both those pins and hooked them up to a bread board with still no luck with and without the module in it. Could someone offer an explanation as to how to get it work maybe make a video tutorial since I can’t find one.

The USB explorer works just fine with all my other Xbees just isn’t able to reset itself.
