Hello,

I am developing a project with the xBee Pro 2B modules I got from SparkFun with Wire antenna and wanted to use a better gain antenna. I have seen that soldering the RPSMA connector to the module and installing the antenna is not working. I assume that it is because the antenna is not enabled.

I did some research and managed to put the connector where the wire antenna was and did work. This is why I am assuming that the RPSMA antenna is not enabled for wire antenna modules.

Is there any way to convert modules with wire antenna to RPSMA connector ones?

Thanks
