# Zigbee Mesh Networking configuration ?

Hello,

I work with XBee Series 2 modules.

I created a C # Application on PC to manage my network Zigbee (connected to my coordinator).

I am able to detect my four xbee modules (routers), sending commands or messages.

When I take the distance I can not reach several modules routers (Sometimes I reach only one module)

I’m not sure my network is zigbee mesh type. Routers does not have parents.

if I configure Xbee module as End Device. he have a parent (router).

I think my network configuration is “Star”.

How to be sure you configured the router correctly to extend the network zigbee?

I have probably forgot somethings in configuration.

My objectif is : create a solid zigbee mesh networking with multiple xbee PRO module.

I can communicate with multiple Xbee modules (broadcast or spécific address) but i can’t increase the range of my zigbee network (in the case where my xbee modem is not side by side or close to my coordinator)

Here is my modem configuration for coordinator and one of my router :
