Dr. Harpreet Singh is the Cofounder of QSec (EquipSecond QSec Medical) and alumni of CSIR, UW Madison, and Birla Institute of Technology. He received his Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Communication Engineering, Masters in Biomedical Engineering and his Ph.D. degree is in science working with Dr. Samir K. Brahmachari. Dr. Singh has led pioneering research in Artificial Intelligence related to video data in intensive care units, biomedical instrumentation concerning real-time machine data stream processing, temporal data mining of patient stay based on High Definition Phenotype, and Cloud Computing. He now progresses this effort to improve clinical outcomes in neonatal intensive care units across the US, Singapore, Korea, and India.
As a Technical Strategist, he has worked in the US, UK, Germany, South Korea, Singapore, and India. He has experience in regulatory frameworks and worked with US FDA, Singapore HSA, Korea MFDS, and Health Canada. As an entrepreneur, he has set up and managed operations in South Korea, Singapore, India, Canada, and the USA. He has raised investment at various stages of company growth and worked with investors spanning multiple countries. He has established series of startup companies and has sold medical based product to a subsidiary of Philips. This product was developed in collaboration (academic agreements) with Dr. Giulio Tononi, University of Wisconsin, Madison in the area of sleep and brain monitoring. He has multiple scientific publications and patents in bioinformatics and medical devices. He has won various entrepreneurship awards and serves on the academic boards of management and research institutes and regularly speaks at national and international seminars.
