Guys, the 4x4 led/button pad is great, BUT, if I need 16x1 I would have to purchase 4 * 4x4 which makes things too expensive for the project I want to release.
So I wonder, would it be possible to make a 16x1 bi-color (or even single color) button pad?

Should not be much more expensive than the 4x4 ones depending on availability of the silicone parts.
I have been wanting this exact thing for a while, though I have not bought much from SFE and all my forum posts are for new product ideas :?

They work pretty well, but lacks the finishing touch that the sparkfun solution has.
