How interested would you be in a PIC-based high-current H-Bridge board for under $35US, with the following attributes:

25A continuous current

Over-current and Over-temperature protection

Configurable control and speed format:

  • PWM speed control with EN and F/R lines

  • Analog V speed control with EN and F/R lines

  • Servo speed and direction control with EN line

  • 5V UART @ 9600Bps

Compact (appx 2" x 1.25")

Open source code

SparkFun: Would you be interested in carrying such a product?

SFE typically sells at 1.7x the cost to them, which would push the price up a lot.

I’ve taken that into account (and actually, 1.7 is a very kindly markup – I’m sure you know that big retailers like WalMart generally want about 3.0 or better, or they won’t even sniff your business). Depending on volume, at 1.7 I think the actual retail might go below $30US.

Sounds just like a Pololu SMC04 controller.

They charge $99, but it works very well in my experience.
