7-segment display noise issues

hey folks,

i’m prototyping a circuit that uses the 7-segment serial display to show the frequency to which the ns73m transmitter is tuned. noise from the serial display is present in the transmission. i’ve tried some bypass caps, but there’s no change. any design suggestions for noise suppression?

Well, I was able to use a large, but unknown value choke on the VCC line to the display, and voila, no hash!

Perhaps the 180uH choke available in the store will do the trick?
