so now that I know that I can encase a rf reciever in plastic and still have it work, I am looking to find the cheapest/easiest way to put together what is basically a “tough as nails” keychain locator. You know, the ones that have a seperate base unit with a button that when pushed makes your keys beep. Yes I know they are out there but I want to build my own. Can anyone help guide this fool? What am I looking at in terms of materials? Thanks in advance, and please remember that I am ignorant on these things, so pretend you are talking to a ten year old.
