About STM32 timer use in both capture and compare mode

i could sort out the problem and also the appropriate way. The clock for timer 3 is only maximum 36 Mhz.

Yet there are some confusions about TIM_GetCapturex(TIMx) function and TIMx->CNT.

If anyone can explain i would be greatful.

yeah i wud try the cortex rule of 32 bits as soon as possible.
