Hi, as the topic name says i need some help in accelerometer selection. For my prototype I need to measure mechanical vibrations (their magnitude) for quite “slow” systems with the frequencies of the vibration from 0-100 Hz (0-50 Hz is another less desirable option) the magnitude range should be programmable, within 0-4g. Also the SPI/I2C interface is required. It would also be helpful if there would be a dedicated library for the accelerometer for easier use (as the project is more mechanical) .The resolution of readings is also an important parameter (14bit reading resolution would be perfect, but lower will also be acceptable). The accelerometer will be used with Arduino Mega 2560, and the results will be stored on microSD through SPI. Any accelerometer you would suggest, that will fulfill my criteria ? Thank You.
