another custom part question

All,

I have read everything I can find about custom parts. I created a custom part for a Bourns Inductor SDR0805 series.

I went through SparkFun’s excellent tutorial and a couple of others that I found and NO LUCK. :shock:

ERC states that the u$1 part, my custom part, has unconnected pins. So I guess I created it correctly (?). I tried various scales withing Schematic and cannot get it to connect.

Can someone look at my library and try the part. I do not have much hair left as it is!

The package, etc are called sdr0805.

When creating schematic symbols in Eagle, always place pins on a 0.1inch grid (remember, schematic symbols, not footprints). Anything else becomes very frustrating to connect.

Thank you for the info. A user on another board mentioned that the size of the symbol is only used in the schematic and does not need to match the physical size of the part.

Somedays, it is important to state the obvious to me! :lol:
