Arduino Compatibility Question

I’m looking to buy my first Arduino for a CAN and GPS project.

I have a few questions…

  1. The Arduino boards that interested me are the Arduino Uno and the Arduino Mega 2560. Which one is compatible with these shields?

  1. Can I use the two shield boards mentioned above a the same time connected to the same Arduino?
