arduino+ethernet shield to send SMS messages via internet

how hard would it be to set something up where a button (connected to the arduino) would trigger the arduino to send an SMS message (“button has been pressed”) via the internet using something similar to the technique discussed here: http://www.theukwebdesigncompany.com/ar … ticle=1583?
