You sign away pretty much all implied warranties in the EULA and have almost no recourse other than obtaining a refund. The exception is if you can prove intent. Most vendors are good about responding to their customers, and this is a value you receive, but as far as legal recourse goes you might as well use OSS because you have none.stevech:
By liability, I don’t mean that related to the product built with the tool. I do mean that if the tool proves to be other than that represented, and has a flaw causing damages in the form of delaying the product completion, then with a commercial compiler, you have legal recourse to force them to correct the problem or pay remedies.
