Hello all,
I’m looking to develop a very simple board with an ARM processor (7 or 9 not sure) that will run Linux and support a TFT LCD. Thats it, nothing much else. It seems that there is a lot to learn out there regarding these topics. Philips NXP seems interesting and I like their documentation. They also have some processors with build in LCD support. Anyone have any other suggestions? Also, ucLinux seems to work on some of these chips. Anyone have any experience with this? Is ucLinux a good option if I want to support a display (perhaps writing to the kernel frame buffer?) And finally, it would be nice to use an existing GUI toolkit that runs on an embedded linux distro. It would be cool if some gurus out there could spare some advice.
Thanks,
Anthony
