Wanting to find some kind of board or debugging cable or software to try and determine the problem with an Auto Air conditioner charging machine. The board has a LPC2132 processor with a debugging port and an RS232 port. The unit was built in 2012. It appears everything was obsolete when it was assembled. I have programmed micro controllers at work with their hardware and software but none of that is compatible. The debugging port is a 20 pin connector. There is a selection on the Menu to place the machine in debug. The machine just stops in the cycle waiting for something. A new machine cost $6000 to $10,000. Since its winter here, I thought we might try this first as business is real slow. Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you for reaching out, however since we don’t carry this chip we can’t support it. I have located a datasheet for that family of processor, you can find that [here. From the datasheet, this would be my best guess:
"The LPC2131/2132/2134/2136/2138 support emulation and debugging via a JTAG serial
port"
JTAG for that kind of ARM family is a standard 20 pin. This might be up the right path, but you’ll have to do more research before purchasing. We do have an assortment of [JTAG related products but please research before purchasing.
Thank you and I hope this helps!](Search Results for jtag - SparkFun Electronics)](http://www.keil.com/dd/docs/datashts/philips/lpc2131_32_34_36_38.pdf)
