AS7263 Spectral Sensor is giving wrong temperature and LED on the sensor is not on at all.

Hi Team Sparkfun,

I’m using AS7263 NIR spectral sensor for finding soil moisture. I have used the “basic readings” example code available in Sparkfun libraries. But when I get the temperature it shows me wrong temperature and even after enabling the LED it doesn’t lit up. Kindly, help me with this. Your help would be of great use in my research.

Hi Vishu.

These are spectral sensors, not thermometers. If you are needing accurate temperature of the soil, you’re going to need to use a temperature sensor rather than a light sensor.
