Hello,
I bought SparkFun Mini Spectral UV Sensor - AS7331 (Qwiic). Only yesterday I had a chance to try it out.
I am using 3.3V power supply, and all default settings (default address of 0x74).
The device is the only one connected on the I2C bus.
No other pullup resistors are present - only the ones from the AS7331 board.
I am using the 0.1" through hole header connector for 3.3V, GND, SCL and SDA.
Unfortunately the device is not responding. See the attached image -
Channel 1 is SCL, Channel 2 is SDA.
Any ideas what maybe wrong, other than a defective board?
Thank you,
D.

Adding photos for front and back of the board.
Looks like you need more solder on those pins.

SYN and INT are not soldered. I simply wanted to check if I can talk to the sensor via I2C, and as such do not use them.
The rest are soldered Ok. GND can have some more solder, but it is soldered - the red LED comes ON.
I also checked for continuity between the SCL and SDA pins, and the I2C pullup resistors - all connected.

I re-soldered the pins. Problem is still there.

Never mind. User error. I was sending the address byte incorrectly.
