The Plan
I am constructing a mobile party truck. Except the Party will be all around the truck instead of inside it. I am going to get all sorts of party lights to shine around the truck along with speakers coming out of the 4 utility cabinets alongside my steel utility topper.
What I Need Help With
On top of my trucks utility topper, I made a 5ft x 5ft x 2ft wooden box laid flat on its side. What I wanna do is build four (5ft x 2ft) identical LED Audio spectrum signs and Put them on all four sides of the wooden box. The Box will rotate on an axle going down into the topper where its rotated by an electric motor.
Im focusing on using LPD8806 LED Strips which my research has told me that I need an Arduino to Program the lights.
Standards:

12DC power source

Auxiliary input and output to speakers

Each panel will display the same thing

I want each panel to have at least 14 spectrum bands (one 2ft LED strip per band)

Each and will have a different frequency(14 total)
What Arduino or Sparkfun circuit parts do I need in order to accomplish this? I don’t know where to begin!
