AVR ICSP with 3.3v atmega328

Hi,

I’m trying to use the atmega328 3.3v version and would like to know how to connect the ‘5V’ connection to the micro. Should I regulate it before it goes through, or put the 5V line from the ICSP directly to the 3.3V regulated circuit. I have looked all over the forums and cannot quite find anything that answers this problem.

The ICSP shouldnt be outputting power. If it is labelled as “5V”, it is probably a misnomer, as this line is really the target Vcc (which will in your case be 3.3V).
