Several suggestions:

  1. Check the port setting in the IDE to make sure it matches the port to which you’ve connected your device.

  2. Check the Arduino type setting in your IDE

  3. Make sure the voltage setting on the FTDI board matches your Arduino

  4. Check your wiring (again).
