bag of amazon LEDs

Can someone advise how to get power low enough to power this bag of Amazon LEDs without blowing them out, as I have been doing. These are them: MCIGICM 5mm LED Light Diodes, LED Circuit Assorted Kit for Science Project Experiment (Multi-Colored - 5 Color)

You have to use a current limiting resistor in series with the LED. I suggest you read this SF tutorial: https://learn.sparkfun.com/tutorials/li … iodes-leds

You need a resistor in series with your LED, Sparkfun has a tutorial on how to figure out what size resistor is needed.

    I went to Digikey to get 220 ohm and 330 ohm resistor arrays. 8 resistors in a 16 pin IC chip. I use them instead of resistors for LEDs. You need a resistor on each LED.
