Hi Sparky/Pittuck. the batchpcb.com site is still “locked” (it pops up an HTTP login whenever I hit it). Is this intentional? If so, any idea when it’ll be unlocked again? The site looked great, and I wanted to run through another design…
i think nathan is working on the ssl connection.
Basically the site was live, as in accepting orders, but not ssl secure. It has not been released yet, so technically joe public are not allowed in anyway;)
Cool! I feel special now :-). Site is back up, and SSL seems to be working (no certificate warnings from my browser at any rate).
Does this mean that BatchPCB is processing orders now? Or should we wait for the official announcement?
Well, wait for official announcement, or wait till i am told its live lol.
I am going to bed now, head hurts… lol.
Submitted a zip file, which failed due to some text (requested by olimex when I had the oard made last week) si I removed that and resubmitted with the same name. The step 1 of 3 thing combo box showed all the files from the first submission, as well as the new ones…

Sweet, removed the text errors, and the design passed DRC.
It’s a little expensive through, the quoted prices is $38,000,255.00!
The board is ‘Compact Flash Retry’ if someone wants to check it out…
I just submitted my test and can get my board for $0.00
You can have a look at it ‘Test 4’
Thank you for the GREAT site.
Anton
Nate is a big dumb idiot. I accidentally pw protected the entire batchpcb site. I was meaning to pw the admin dir. Silly rabbit.
BatchPCB now has:
The silly pw protection removed
SSL installed
Authorize.net connecting securely and sucessfully processing
$38 million? Buy two, ok?
I’ll see if I can work on the size script today.

PS There is nothing so rough as a sushi hang-over…
ok thats a bug, the $37million thing is a known bug and has not beed fixed cause no credit cards will let u make payment for $37m lol.
I have fixed the $0 problem, not u pay $37m, lol!
I am getting pizza and am going out tonight, but the bodge fixes should stand.
BTW - are any other eagle users having trouble?
humm, what did you do? lol
I just put ur design though the DRC and got the correct price… lol.

My cart is now worth $76,000,510.00
Hey Caffeine,
It’s 4:30pm MST so I dunno if you’ve tried resubmitting yet but please do so and let us know what you get. I ironed out quite a few bugs and you’re my next test case.

Will do so in about 6 hours when I get back to the PC where the gerbers are stored…
If it’s called Retry2.zip then it’s coming up as 15940056 square inches.
More work…

Is it because the border isn’t a regular shape?
No - it works fine with funky shapes.
It seems to be working fine for me. 15.94 square inches. When did you resubmit?

It’s working now.
I have another one which I mentioned in another thread caleld ‘Puck’ which seems to be overestimate in size by about 3x…
Ugh - you’ve got some new format. Looks like trailing
FSTAX23Y23
When the normal file type is
FSLAX23Y23
leading vs trailing.
So
Y0198 is getting through as smaller than
Y01974
when in fact it’s not.
Beer time. Then PHP scripting.

I think I got it fixed. The number_lengths are now padded.
Checks out to 2.25 sq inches. Looks close. Please verify.
Nice bug!
