Hi I just want the minimum out of my BC127. Just to power it on I need GND and VDD_PADS and VBAT?
If I want to use rx/tx do I need cts and rts? Do i just connect them to each other?
Does anyone know of a software serial equivalent for avr (ie: not using arduino), or hould I connect another way?

Well the post seems to talk mostly about software and the breakout board. There is an image with the breakout board connected to VBat, but the schematic seems to show VBat not connected to the reset button or VDD_PADS, which I am not sure makes sense in normal use.
Perhaps that is just for a quick tutorial but not something that should be done in the field, unless there is an internal pull resistor?
I was hoping someone with experience with the chip could comment. But yes, I did check that page before asking my question, I guess I should have been more clear.
So you definitely need VDD_PADS, it is tied to pull reset high, which I guess means using a regulator.
Still not sure if you need VBAT_SENSE, VREGEN, or VCHG though.
