BlueGIGA audio+spp

I was thinking of using the bluegiga module for robot control, I wanted to be able to link the serial port to the controller for telemetry/robot control etc and have the audio mode to send sound out of the robots speaker and maybe listen on the pc.

does anybody know it i can multiplex the voice/serial profiles to do this?

Hi,

Check out the Bluegiga Iwrap 3 datasheet page 194

12.7 iWRAP to iWRAP Serial Port Profile + SCO connection

iWRAP also supports SCO (audio) connections. This example shows how to open a

simultaneous Serial Port Profile and SCO audio connection between two iWRAP modules.

This should be what you are looking for.

Hi,

I have had a pair of WT32 modem test boards running today streaming stereo audio via bluetooth using the A2DP profile which leaves the comms link running also. However, for your application voice only SCO is acceptable as in the previous reply.
