Bluetooth trouble

Hello

I’m trying bluetooth connection, with Bluetooth Mate Silver (WRL-10393).

I connect VCC on +5V, GND on GND, RX-I to pin3, TX-O to pin 2. This connection means different as I can see on this image : https://www.sparkfun.com/tutorial/Bluet … %20003.jpg.

I used the sketch as explained in this page : https://www.sparkfun.com/tutorials/264

Data transmitted with serial port means sent to bluetooth, but no data means received to bluetooth (nothing is sent to serial when typing in bluetooth terminal).

Any idea ?

Double check all of your connections and make sure there isn’t a cold joint somewhere. Also make sure the drivers are installed properly on your computer for the bluetooth to interface with, as we’ve seen serial port issues with that before. If you are still having problems, please email techsupport@sparkfun.com and they can determine further if you have a bad module.
