Im looking for a DIY kit that my students can make a buzzard/light wireless call button that could be attached or used as a hall pass,
This help?
so your saying this light switch will work to make a vibration buzzard and a light up after certain time limit? I want them to make these for a hall pass for students who have a certain amount of time to be out of class
No, that’s not what you asked for.
Your description was pretty vague, it sounded like you wanted to press a button and light up a light that was somewhere else.
I assume you mean “buzzer” as in a device that makes a buzzing or beeping sound and not a bird that eats dead things? I am also assuming you want this device to vibrate like a phone would when it rings and that it should also light up after some time limit expires.
There’s not going to be a kit for something like that, there just isn’t enough demand for anyone to invest the time and money to manufacture one.
You could accomplish this with a few parts, a micro controller like an Arduino and most importantly, a program you would need to write. It’s fairly simple but that’s assuming that you have some prior experience with both electronics and computer programming.
If you were to want to build such a device and have no prior experience, I would recommend starting with something like the Sparkfun inventors kit to get your feet wet and a feel for what you need to do to make your idea into reality. The parts in the kit along with a buzzer and a vibration motor would do for making a prototype.
