Can anyone get 2.02 core to run blinky on Artemis Nano???

Have not been able to use “old” Artemis Nano board with Sparkfun Arduino Core since rev. 2.0. I see the board is still being sold with the statement in the descriptions: “The Nano is fully compatible with the SparkFun’s Arduino core”. Delay is causing an mbed error as is delayMicroseconds. Will Sparkfun be supporting this board or is it the intention to only support the new DK board etc?

This is a VERY basic blinky.ino;

Turns an LED on for one second, then off for one second, repeatedly.

Most Arduinos have an on-board LED you can control. On the UNO, MEGA and ZERO

it is attached to digital pin 13, on MKR1000 on pin 6. LED_BUILTIN is set to

the correct LED pin independent of which board is used.

If you want to know what pin the on-board LED is connected to on your Arduino

model, check the Technical Specs of your board at:

This example code is in the public domain.

http://www.arduino.cc/en/Tutorial/Blink

*/

// the setup function runs once when you press reset or power the board

void setup() {

// initialize digital pin LED_BUILTIN as an output.

pinMode(LED_BUILTIN, OUTPUT);

}

// the loop function runs over and over again forever

void loop() {

digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, HIGH); // turn the LED on (HIGH is the voltage level)

delay(1000); // wait for a second

digitalWrite(LED_BUILTIN, LOW); // turn the LED off by making the voltage LOW

delayM(1000); // wait for a second

}

I do not have a NANO, but just out of interest… what happens if you try to use delayMicroseconds() instead of delay() in the sketch ? The difference is whether it will use the RTOS sleep_for() or the wait_us()

delay - led lights up and stays lit. Attach Termite and printout lists mbed errors and hardware fault.

delayMicroseconds - led blinks couple of times then goes out (not steady as expected - erratic)- don’t see error when termite hooked up.

Used Serial.print to troubleshoot. delay or delayMicroseconds stops processing.

Sparkfun/Arduino_Apollo3 issue #262 has errors, and attempts from core 2.0 = Arduino functions inconsistent / not working

I am using Arduino 1.8.12 per Artemis instructions for Setting up Arduino IDE.

I installed Sparkfun Apollo 3 Ver 2.0.2

Blink example does work with Artemis Nano board.

Thank you… maybe I have a bad board…

Tried a 2nd nano I had…and…IT WORKED!..so bad board. Weird cuz it did blink with 1.0.30 but not with 2.0.2.

Thanks again for the help. Tme for a new nano.
