Can you send and recieve on the same Arduino

Just as a proof of concept?

I’m writing with Serial.print(), setting a slight delay, then checking with Serial.available() and nothing seems to be coming through.

Using the 434 transmitter/reciever from Sparkfun. Any recommendations?
