Changing NEO-M9N PPS out frequency to 10 MHz

Hello

I want to build a stable 10MHz signal source. The M9N specification sheet says that the maximum PPS output is 10 MHz (with a bit of jitter). I have several question if you can help me please:

  1. Once the GPS is locked, is the 10 MHZ signal stable?

  2. Looking at Example 23 Time Pulse Frequency it is not obvious that the PPS output can be set to 10 MHz

  3. Looking at both ucenter and ucenter2 documentation, I did not see any reference to changing the PPS frequency

Should I pursue considering the NEO-M9N or is this not a good fit?

Thank you for your advice

The NEO-M9N data sheet identifies the Timepulse output as 1 pulse per second, and gives no indication that this can be changed. You can change the pulse width, polarity, etc. See section 3.13.1.14 of the Neo-M9N Integration Manual.

Please post a link to the “specification sheet” to which you refer.

You can of course use the 1 PPS output to train another oscillator (look up “GPS disciplined oscillator”).
