cheap pcb design?

Hi, I’d like to build a custom hardware project, and then do the software myself, but am in a bit of a hurry and need to have someone else design/test the PCB. Can anyone recommend a reliable and relatively inexpensive PCB design shop for a low-volume project?

I can help with this. I use Orcad Schematic Capture and layout software. I can provide you with schematics and Gerber files. I also have an account with PCB fabrication houses to get boards made as cheap as possible. I can also check your design for errors, thus saving money on PCB costs.

Hi Sona, thanks for responding. I need a handheld touchscreen+RF device designed and built. Kind of a combination of these:

Both are open-source hardware and software. Let me know if you’re interested. Thanks.

PM me with the details. I might be able to help.

Thanks for responding. PM me and we can discuss details.

ASmods,

I think I have time to help you as well.

Send me an email at surinder61@yahoo.com

Would anyone be interested in helping out with a small project? Similar request. I think I’ve got the schematic (really simple one) and I need a PCB. Would like someone with a little more experience than myself (I’ve done one tutorial so far…)

Thanks for any offers!

I also do PCB design, using EAGLE. My prices are low. Send me a PM with your requirements.

Yusuf,

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

This project is too involved for me, I don’t have that much time.

AS you continue with this project, that open source hardware & software many times have bugs.

Sona

I suppose I should throw my hat into the ring. Always nice to have extra income…

I work professionally as am electrical design engineer primarily working on consumer electronics, though previously I’ve worked a lot on military robotics.

I do all my work in Altium Designer. Happy to do schematics, layout, testing, etc. I do tend to avoid heavy programming tasks though.

Send me a PM and we can go from there

and Yusuf - your project sounds simple enough but the links you provided don’t seem to work.
